Design notes

  • Use individual resistors when driving LEDs in parallel—current sharing is unreliable otherwise.
  • Add margin for LED forward voltage variation over temperature and manufacturing spread.
  • For PWM dimming, ensure headroom remains even at maximum battery voltage.
